Active Together - Begins November 2017
A functional approach to group exercise. Class will use functional movement patterns using a step. Strength, balance and agility will be included. See Active Together in action.
Strength Train Together
This class will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates and body weight, this workout combines squats, lunges, presses and curls , with functional integrated exercises. See Strength Train Together in action.
GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Barre targets lower body strength and upper body toning while utilizing core stability. The barre allows you to focus on alignment and posture during the exercise. Small controlled movement and light hand weights are used.
Cardio Circuit Training
A fast paced moving class that uses timed ratios to achieve higher heart rate variability and improve strength/reaction time. Jump Ropes and Calisthenics will also be included.
Are you looking to sweat! Get your heart pumping through a variety of intense cardio and plyometric drills combined with rebound movement.
60 minute functional training format that promotes cardio endurance and muscular strength. Balance and Core included.
This class includes a mat pilates format with foam rollers. Pilates exercises will enhance your core through lengthening your body as you stabilize. Foam rollers will help to ease muscle tension and soreness.
This workout brings a new spin to the sport of cycle. Music and Instructor motivation will take you to the next level. Climb hills, go for speed while your instructor prompts you to increase your heart rate variability.
This class is especially formatted for older adults and those with arthritis. Class is predominantly chair based with a concentration on strength, balance, coordination, joint mobility and functional fitness. Nationally recognized by the Center for Disease Control.
Fit Chair Dance
A lower intensity version with the same energy and fun level. Adaptable to beginners and older adults
Great for beginner yogis or individuals with limited mobility. Deep tissue stretching. A great choice for those with chronic disease as well.

A 30 minute basic cycling class designed to promote endurance and strength for those over 55 or someone new to cycling.
This class will use a step to increase cardio output. Patterns and directional changes on the step will be introduced. This format also includes a strength segment using dumbbells and or bands.
